Dead Space

Set in a grim, futuristic universe, Dead Space is a science fiction horror franchise renowned for its intense atmosphere, psychological horror, and gruesome body horror, with its primary threat coming from terrifying creatures known as Necromorphs. These Necromorphs are reanimated corpses of humans, grotesquely mutated by an alien infection. They are fast, vicious, and horrifyingly adaptive, making them a central point of tension and fear throughout the franchise. 

The Dead Space franchise first gained prominence with its critically acclaimed video game series, starting with the original game in 2008. The game places players in the role of Isaac Clarke, an engineer trying to survive the outbreak of Necromorphs aboard a stranded spaceship.
