Finally! We are now introducing the Movie Update.
What does this mean?
You might notice a new link in the menu. You can now find every zombie movie on the planet under this link… eventually. Since this is a website about zombies it wouldn't make sense not to include some zombie specific meta data about each movie, such as the zombies type and speed.
To get you into our mindset;
The Zombie Type describes the overall categorization of the zombie. Traditional in this sense describes the flesh-eating, dispose of the brain to put them down-kind of zombies. For example, you would find these zombies in Romero's “Dawn of the Dead”.
We decided to break out the zombie's speed into its own category since it's a hot topic when it comes to zombie movie preference. A zombie can be filed under “Traditional” while still being fast, such as the zombies in “Zombieland” or Zack Snyder's “Dawn of the Dead”.
Something else we included as a Zombie Type is “Infected”. These are not zombies per se, but share some or all characteristics of a zombie. You will find movies such as “Train to Busan” and “28 Days Later” under this type.
What comes next?
While the movie update has been released we are not yet done with it. The movie pages are very basic and filtering is not yet an option. Filtering will be here within a few weeks and will make most of the data on the movie pages clickable so you can find movies with, for example, only fast zombies or movies that originate from South Korea.
After this is done we move on to our next type of zombie media; Shows.
