Shows have now arrived at ZombieDB!
While going through the list of movies, we also encountered a lot of shows, that are relatively close to movies from a data point of view, so we decided to add the shows a bit earlier than expected.
Aside from the usual data you find on movie pages, you also get the show status. It can be:
- Unknown: Basically, we have no idea. We have scoured the internet and found nothing.
- Cancelled: The one we generally don't want to see. The show has been cancelled for any number of reasons. Expect cliffhangers and stories that never resolve.
- Finished: The one we like. The story has ended. The final episode has aired and hopefully gave a satisfactory ending.
- In Development: It's not out yet. It's currently in development.
- Ongoing: The show is ongoing, and at least one episode has been released.
On top of this, you will get info on the number of seasons and the (average) episode runtime.
The latest added shows will also be displayed on the homepage, and every franchise will now display shows, if any.
On the shows page, you get the usual filters, along with the show status filter, so you can find (or avoid) certain shows.
What comes next?
We will take a small break and focus on adding more content and fixes. The next media type will either be games or books. But before that, we need to work on the user experience, add more content, and make quality-of-life fixes; we are especially aware of the filter, which will get some upgrades.
And yes, we will add search functionality :)
