Back 4 Blood's codename was “Gobi” during the development. The actor and stuntman Jesse Hutch, who also worked on motion capture for the first game, listed a project titled “Gobi 2” for Turtle Rock Studios on his resume, which has since been removed. Hmmmmmm…
Back 4 Blood couldn't attract as much positive attention as Left 4 Dead, but it did have over 6 million players in the first two weeks after launch. Right now on steam, the game sits at 66.97% positive reviews in total, with 77% positive the last 30 days.
