A few days ago, news and blogs started reporting on the Resident Evil Code: Veronica and Resident Evil 0 remakes.
Some were a bit too quick to publish, and the rumors of the games being less ambitious were words taken out of context from DuskGolem, a Tier 3 source according to Reddit's r/gamingleaksandrumours. DuskGolem took to Twitter/X to claim that Resident Evil Code: Veronica and Resident Evil 0 are in development (claims that IGN can corroborate as accurate) and to further clarify that the two games being less ambitious were in comparison to the scope and size of the Resident Evil 4 Remake, which was true for the original games as well. They're simply smaller games in comparison. They then went on to say that they have strong suspicions that the two games will be superior high-budget reimaginings just like the previous remakes.
