Zombie Horror Comedy "Eerie Town" Aiming for a 2025 Release

It appears the residents in the town of Eerie, Colorado, are big on zombie movies. Michael Freeman, a local director, reached out to the community looking for volunteers for his zombie horror comedy “Eerie Town," and they answered. Once he started filming, he received almost 600 emails, with many local shops and restaurants helping out as well.

They're aiming for a 2025 release, close to Halloween, with the intent on submitting the movie to a festival and maybe self-distributing through independent theaters in Colorado. Ideally, the movie will end up on Netflix or Amazon Prime after building a following.

They are currently in the final stages of filming, with two more days needed—one in early December and one day in the spring next year. While they don't need any more volunteers right now, the crew is still trying to raise money for the set. They've set up a GoFundMe, which has raised over 50% of their goal.
